(Archived) Evernote Crashing on Startup

I've been using Evernote for a few months now and worked fine until recently. Everytime it starts up it crashes. I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling and clearing all files. Nothing seems to make it better. Here is the crash log:

Please try installing the release candidate of our upcoming version 1.5:

Quit Evernote from the Menu Bar

Drag the Evernote Application to the Trash

Reboot

Download and install: http://www.evernote.com/about/download/ ... releaseMac

If that doesn't help, try deleting your saved Evernote settings by running the Mac "Terminal" application and then type this command:

defaults delete com.evernote.Evernote

Let us know if this helps.

Dave, thanks for you're response. I followed your steps and uninstalled and installed the new version of Evernote and it crashed on opening too. I reset the defaults and it cleared out my preferences (it asked me to login then instantly crashed). Neither suggestion worked, any more?

It seems like it opens fine until it tries to draw the first preview of a text note and then crashes right after.

Please try upgrading to the latest release (version 1.5.0) and then reboot. If you still see the problem after that, try running the Mac "Console" application and grab the last dozen "Evernote" lines you see before the crash.
