Re-attach to existing evernote files\folders on a hard drive

I am a new user just exploring for now.  I am saving everything to my HD and NOT in the cloud (No Sync).  How do I re-attach to my existing data on a data drive if I have to rebuild my OS hard drive? I lost some notebooks (empty) that I created under the Admin acct when I moved to my user account.

Hi.  Evernote > Tools > Options > General will show you where your database folder is kept.  Open the folder from that screen and then Evernote > File > Exit - close Evernote completely.  Copy the contents of that database folder to a safe location.  When you reinstall Evernote,  move the contents back to the same place.

Thanks for the input.  I will remember that next time.  Fortunately I was just exploring so I did not loose anything important.
