"Check For Updates" not working after upgrading to v5.6

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

It seems that the "Check For Updates" option is no longer working after upgrading to EN v5.6.

I get the following error when it tries to check for an update:

Update Error!

An error occurred in retrieving update information. Please try again later.

And it only has a "Cancel Update" button on the pop-up.

I've attached a screenshot of the error message as well.

Evernote Version: 5.6.0 (450741 Direct)

OS X Version: 10.9.5

Any help around fixing this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately that terminal command didn't help.

I ran it and got the following:

$ defaults delete com.evernote.Evernote SUFeedURL
2014-09-24 19:37:36.311 defaults[78717:507]
Domain (com.evernote.Evernote) not found.
Defaults have not been changed.

I' running Evenote Version 6.10 (454267 Direct)   and I can not log into Evernote afte Sierra update.

I'm also running Scansnap. That seems to run OK but the documents

are not uploading to the Evenote server. I've uninstalled and reinstalled.

I ran the terminal command that was suggested in ref to this error no success.

I can log into Evenote web ?????????

You may want to post this in the main Ver 6.10 thread to make sure Evernote is aware of your issue:
