Evernote disappeared.

Help!- Evernote has completely disappeared from my PC (windows 7) no desktop icon, no sign of it in anywhere in program files, nothing.  I've rebooted...still nothing.  I'm afraid to download and reinstall because I don't want to have it sync an empty notebook list to my devices.  Any thoughts out there?

Have a look for a folder on your machine at C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Databases

 

Also look at your account by logging in to the web page at Evernote.com.  You should be able to see all your notes there.

 

If there are files in the folder you find,  including an EXB file,  your notes are also alive and well on your device - just the app has been removed somehow. 

 

If there's no folder,  you have nothing related to Evernote on your machine. 

 

Either way,  if you want it back,  you'll have to reinstall it.  Choose 'already have an account' and log in with your existing user name and password,  and your database will either be found or it will be rebuilt.
