How to add a new note to a table of contents note

In the Mac client of Evernote, I do the following:

 

In the Snippet View, Card View or the List View, right click on the Note you wish to add to the TOC.

In the menu that pops up, Select "Copy Note Link"

Paste in the TOC Note.
