I have gone back to the direct-download version after a dalliance with the Apple Store version. In looking for ways to trim disk usage I found this info about file locations Grumpy Monkey posted in a related thread a few months back:
DOES THIS MEAN I can safely delete the folder he lists under (2), which seems to have been accumulated by the Apple Store version? This file and its equivalent from the direct download version (1) are 16 and 17 GB respectively, the cost of having accumulated 22,000 notes over the years. See the screenshot attached for the two files.
(Note that com.evernote.Evernote is not in Containers, but in Application Support.)

I have gone back to the direct-download version after a dalliance with the Apple Store version. In looking for ways to trim disk usage I found this info about file locations Grumpy Monkey posted in a related thread a few months back:
"Your data is stored in one of three locations:
"(1) Direct download from Evernote, which I recommend (http://evernote.com/...ile=EvernoteMac)
/Users/<userID>/Library/Application Support/Evernote
"(2) Download from the Apple Appstore
~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote
"(3) Download from the Apple Appstore if you have a Fusion drive
/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data/Library/Application Support/Evernote/account/<your username>/ "
TIA.
