How do I force Word-Wrapping?

I notice the displayed text is wrapping at the character level rather than the word.  This is annoying, forcing me to enter a 'return' to keep the words intact.

 

How do/can I force the display text to wrap via word vs character?

You didn't say which Evernote client you are using (Windows, Mac, web, Android, iOS). That may make a difference.

 

The Windows client has no such setting. I see word wrap at the word level, not at character level. Ditto for the web client, and for the Android client. Might be affected by the underlying HTML, though.

I'm using a Mac, with  EverNote version 5.6.0 Beta 7.

I notice this only happens occasionally.

Adjusting the width of the edit area appears to work: word-wrap vs character wrap.

I guess I have to play with it to get a repeated pattern.
