Murk 8 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 If I drag a pdf to a notebook, a new note is created. However, if I drag to an empty notebook, the note is not created. This seems to be an inconsistency.
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted September 2, 2014 Ex Employees Posted September 2, 2014 I'm not able to replicate this. What version of Evernote are you running?
Murk 8 Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 5.5.2 (402634 direct) OSX Further info: If you are looking at the notebook selection screen (listing all the books), drag and drop does work for an empty notebook. However, if the notebook has been clicked into, dragging a document into the area that lists notes does not work. I have just reverified this.
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted September 2, 2014 Ex Employees Posted September 2, 2014 Are you dragging into column 1 or 2? Dragging into column 2 will not create a new note.
Murk 8 Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Into 2, and it does create a note if there already are notes. That it does in some cases, but not in others is an inconsistency.
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted September 3, 2014 Ex Employees Posted September 3, 2014 Dragging into the blank area will not create a new note, but dragging over an already existing note in the 2nd column will create a new note.
Murk 8 Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Yes. That was the report. The point is that this is inconsistent. The same action (drag and drop) gives differing outcomes. This is bad. M'kay?
