How Can I delete a notebook and keep all the notes ?

The notes need to belong to some notebook, so you need to make a replacement notebook and then drag the old notes into the new notebook before you delete the original.

This is a lot more work than just renaming the notebook to something else, however. I'd recommend renaming instead.
