Annotation increases pdf size tenfold

Hi,

 

I was reading and annotating a pdf file this morning and I noticed that the size of my pdf in Evernote grew from 2.5 MB to 27MB! Document is 16 pages ( originally a Visio drawing). I only added 2 Arrows and three lines of text on 2 pages. Now I can imagine that the file size would increase a bit, but 10 x as big? 

 

Is this normal or did something else happen. I was offline.

Sure, but unfortunately for some odd reason I can't see the Messenger option as described in Forum Help:

 

"To access it, select your username while logged in from the top corner of any page, and then press "Messenger".
