kp214 1
I am trying to share a note via email. When I tested it by sending it to myself, once I clicked the link, it took me to a page on evernote, wanting me to download it, create an evernote account, save the picture, or share via social media. I just wanted it to play, so I could hear the explanation I had given. Once I clicked on the file, it would tell me I needed to update Adobe Acrobat. It played fine when I watched it in Evernote. I installed the latest version of Adobe and still won't play. Advice needed! I used this months ago with no problem. I could share a link with my students and they could watch the examples being worked. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,024 Posted August 20, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted August 20, 2014 <snip>... Once I clicked on the file, it would tell me I needed to update Adobe Acrobat. In what way does the PDF file refuse to play? What messages/ errors do you see? You say the file will open in Evernote's native reader - can you re-save it and replace the current version in the note? Can you test the visibility of the PDF with a colleague or student to check their view of this note? Link to comment
kp214 1
I've attached what I see when I click the link. From there, once I try to open the file, I see the second image. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
kp214 1
It appears to be a google chrome issue. It works as long as I have Adobe updated and open it with Internet Explorer. Thanks. Link to comment
