ScanSnap Evernote Edition and IX500 on Mac does not work

Hi,

 

I have bought a Fujitsu IX500 Scanner for my Evernote Premium Account.

 

I installed the latest ScanSnap Evernote Edition (Version 1.0.30) on Mavericks 10.9.4 but I could not get the scanner starting to work

 

When I try to scan the document by pushing the scan button, the led only blinks 4 times and does nothing.

 

I reinstalled the software several times, rebooted, but did not get the scanner running. 

 

Within windows it is running fine, but on Mac no chance so far to get it running.

 

 

Any help appreciated.

 

Update: I have now installed the original Scan Snap Software from Fujitsu.

 

Scanning works now, but not directly into Evernote.

 

Any chance to get the Evernote Edition running?

It sounds like you’re trying to use the ScanSnap Evernote Edition software, but you don’t have a ScanSnap Evernote Edition scanner.

The Evernote Edition software is specific to the Evernote Edition scanner. If you need the Evernote Edition software, you'd need to purchase the Evernote Edition scanner. Anything to do with the non-Evernote Edition scanner is in Fujitsu's hands, not Evernote's.
