A way to NOT have PDF annotation summaries?

Is there a way not to have an annotation summary prepended to the PDF file? I wouldn't mind if it were appended, but when prepended it makes it difficult for me and recipient to see what the document is about when the first page, and the preview shown in EN, is a bunch of random edits.

My preference would be to just eliminate it. I know what the annotations are as it is the big fluffy pinkish-red stuff in the file.

iOS and Windows do this. I suspect the Mac does to, but cannot confirm.

You can uncheck "Edit -> Include Annotation Summary"

Good to know, but two issues:

  1. It isn't persistent, so you have to remember to do that with every note.
  2. I cannot find that option on iOS at all.

On Windows, it is persistent-per-PDF, so if you re-annotate a PDF that excluded the summary page, that option will not be checked.

Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to be included in the mac version of Evernote... -_-

Hey @EdH,

On the Mac you can select to not have the summary right inside the Skitch Window

Is the ability to activate or de-activate "Include Annotation Summary" no longer in the Edit menu?  I do not see the menu choice, "Edit/Include Annotation Summary," in Evernote for Windows, version 3.3.3.3502.  If that is correct, ie., that it has been removed, has it been relocated?  Or eliminated?  If eliminated, why?

Just unselect the checklist box.

You realize my question was from over 2 years ago, right?
