The web clipper "Choosing a Web Clip Type" flashes and disappears

I have safari

When I click on the web clipper icon the 

Choosing a Web Clip Type

menu flashes for a moment and then the take a screenshot option appears. 

I'm not that computer savvy please help.

It sounds like you have an older version of the Clipper installed, latest version in 6.2.4.

 

I would recommend:

1) Uninstall the Safari Clipper. Safari > Preferences > Extensions click uninstall.

2) Restart Safari

3) Go to www.evernote.com/webclipper 

4) Install the Safari Clipper again

5) Restart Safari again

 

Sign back in to Web Clipper and try clipping again.
