How do I gift Evernote Premium?

As part of my coaching practice, I'd like to be able to work with my clients via Evernote Premium.
But is there a way I can pay for their subscription and remain in control of the billing process.

I don't want to simply enter my credit card details into their account. Otherwise I might end up paying for an ongoing subscription even after they've finished working with me.

 

The only thing I can think of is asking them to pay for their own subscription, and me then reimbursing them. Just seems a tad messy.
Is there another way that doesn't compromise my security?

Back in 2008 it was possible to 'Give the gift of Evernote' - don't know if the feature is still available,  but the web page is still there...

That's still running. You can "gift" a year of Premium from the web login directly, and it will take you to the main gift page: https://www.evernote.com/Gift.action
