cards 0
Context:At work, I've used Evernote to create documentation regarding certain software: How to set it up, how to use it, what maintenance is required...and most importantly, passwords for managing it. In the notes, I've encrypted sensitive items like usernames, passwords, etc. I want to export these notes to html and store them in a secure location on our file server so another admin would have access to the information something happened to me.Problem:When exporting notes with encrypted content, the encrypted content is completely missing, replaced by an icon. I realize I could decrypt permanently, export, re-encrypt, but what a pain.Solution:Could we please have an option to decrypt all on export? Data portability is important to users, and the thought of manually decrypting every single encrypted item if you want to get your data out of Evernote is a major drawback. Link to comment
engberg 89
Thanks for the feedback. You can always re-import the notes on any Mac or Windows client later (e.g. into a Local notebook), but thanks for the suggestion. Link to comment
