Suddenly Evernote will not open on my laptop

I am running Vista and suddenly Evernote will not open.   I click on the shortcut and then go to programs and nothing happens.  I have not made any changes to my computer since I used Evernote last week

This is just a speculation on my part, but I wonder if it might have something to do with Windows no longer supporting Vista?

Sorry about that......  I am running Windows 7; can't imagine where I got Vista from.

Obviously something changed, so you need to look for it.

 

Did you have Evernote set to auto-update on new releases, including Beta?

Do you have Windows set to auto-update on new fixes?

Have you tried a shutdown/restart of Windows?

Do a restart, make sure no other apps are running, and then start Evernote.

 

If all of the above fails, try staring Windows in Safe Mode with Network, then start Evernote.

Revo uninstall Evernote and reinstall the latest version from Evernote.com.

Lol. That's good to hear. I was actually feeling quite bad for you, what with being stuck in what I consider to be one of the worst iterations of Windows to ever have existed!
