Add an Authorized Application

Recommended Posts

I have begun to use Evernote on my desktop PC and my laptop, and am satisfied with it, however it is giving me a problem on the iPod Touch. The problem:

On the iPod, when I select a note that was encrypted on the PC, a dialog box asks for my "Passphrase". After entering my passphrase, a statement in blue displays "Invalid Password". (Note the statement is PASSWORD, not Passphrase.) No amount of changing passwords, using different passwords, etc allows me to see the encrypted text on the iPod. (everything works as expected on the desktop and laptop PC's)

While checking the settings, I noted that the desktop PC and laptop are listed as "Authorized Applications". So, how do I "Authorize" my iPod?!

EverNote seems to function normally on the iPod with the exception of the "view encrypted text" function.

Thank you for any info you may provide.
