Getting "white paper" with evernote app using phone doc picture feature

Hello all, love evernote. Is there a way using evernote on android to get a real white background for the page when adding a new doc from within the evernote app and using the phone camera? When I open the new doc the paper is never really white and background will print. Even when using a flash. Yes I can use an app that will do the cleaning (phone scanner app) and then import but that's too many steps...

 

Any hindsight?

Taking the picture in a good light and against a contrasting background may help - white paper against a dark desk or floor covering maybe?
