Using Evernote in iOS, Mac and Windows

Recommended Posts

Yes. Install the evernote application on each of those devices, log in using the same evernote account, and you will have access to your Evernote content on all of those devices.

If you aren't comfortable installing the Evernote application on your work computer or you aren't permitted to install applications, you can also access and modify all of your content through the web browser at http://www.evernote.com.

I have a Mac, ipad and iPhone but also want to share my notes to my work computer which is Windows. Can this be done?

Your use case is Evernote's raison d'être. As Scott said, it is easy to access through Windows or the Web. I think you'll find it quite enjoyable to seamlessly sync across operating systems with little or no effort on your part.

Hope you don't mind if I add a rather obvious note of caution. If you don't have your employer's permission to use Evernote, even if is only as the IOS as opposed to the Windows app version, you might want to consider keeping all your Evernote activities between your IPhone and Mac.

Theoretically, your employer can access all of your web activity - even if he has to pay for a tech service to do so if your office doesn't have their own in-house IT dept. - and if you do anything not authorized by the employer, it could come back to haunt you later.
