Evernote on Mac does not sync

My mac will not sync to Evernote. This has only happened in the last 2 days. I have uninstalled Evernote and reinstalled it. I am connected to the correct Evernote account as I only have one. I have not changed settings on wireless or computer. What do I do to get it working again? Obviously if it does not sync it is next to useless.

Can you explain exactly what you mean?

 

Have you had Evernote on the Mac and suddenly it won't upload/sync to the web? 

 

Or is it a new computer with a new install of Evernote that you cannot get the information 'downloaded' to?

 

If the latter do you have a large database, if so, it can take a long time to download.

No, the computer has had Evernote on it for a long time. It is not a new computer nor a new account. I think the problem is solved. I removed Evernote again and made sure that all Evernote add-ons were removed too (like the web clipper), and reinstalled it. It seems to be working again now. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your reply.
