Web Clipper error message - go away!

Hi, 

I keep getting this every time a leave and come back to Chrome. How do I get rid of it? (Have tried downloading web clipper from evernote.com but it says already installed).

Help please.

Sorry for that issue - here's what I recommend. 

1) Uninstall the Clipper (right click the Clipper toolbar icon > Remove from Chrome

2) Restart Chrome

3) Go to Webstore https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/evernote-web-clipper/pioclpoplcdbaefihamjohnefbikjilc

4) Re-install the Web Clipper and restart Chrome 

5) Try again

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now and I still keep getting the same message. I just gave up and uninstalled it until this problem gets resolved.

We just released a fix to patch this error popup. 

Users should get auto updated to the latest version 6.2.1 which has the fix applied either in the background or on Chrome restart. 

 

To force updates manually:

1) Visit chrome://extensions and set it to developer mode and push the button 'Update Extensions Now' at the top of the page. 

2) Users can uninstall then re-install from https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/evernote-web-clipper/pioclpoplcdbaefihamjohnefbikjilc

 

And then verify you are running Web Clipper 6.2.1
