Just upgraded to a new computer, installed Evernote and unable to sync up. I already uninstalled and reinstalled EverNote. Please help:

If you're unable to sync to Evernote on a new installation..

  • Use a browser to check your account on Evernote.com - this confirms your account is OK and that you're able to connect to the internet.
  • Try to connect again - failures can be due to busy connections at your end or traffic on Evernote's servers.
  • Exit evernote via File > Exit and uninstall it  - ask for help first if you have unsynced or local notes.
  • Reinstall and retry sync

Tried re-install. Doesn't work.

Online connection with internet is ok.  :(

Same problem in Australia. Evernote on Win8.1 home PC is not syncing. On iPad and work PC (also Win8.1) no problems.

PC uses IE11 - so no possibility to set to Work Offline mode.

Any ideas?

Have you tried all the suggestions so far in this thread?

Yes:

  • Uninstall/reinstall = no change
  • Not using IE8 (IE11 on the computer, which does not have 'work offline' as a configurable option.

Something has changed - becasue Evernote was working a few weeks ago (last time I opened it up on this PC), and works daily (I use it daily) on work PC (same account, also Win 8.1).

Puzzled...

Hmmn.  If you last used Evernote on this PC some weeks ago but use it daily at work,  your database is having to catch up with a lot of information.  Is it feasible to go through the 'rename database and rebuild it' process?  (Search around the forums for fulller details if you need them and beware of losing local/ unsynced notes).

For recent issues on "EDAM processing error: Excessive batch response size", do as follows:

1. Tools->Options->Update to pre-released version when available

2. Help->Check for Updates

After update, the issue is gone.
