Hangs on any note containing a checkbox

Yesterday, Evernote started to hang (spinning color wheel) every time I launched the app. I noticed it was attempting to display a running list of things I use checkboxes to track completion on. Through various troubleshooting I have isolated the issue to ANY note that contains the option of a checkbox causes Evernote to hang now. I have deleted ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote multiple times and have confirmed with 100% certainty that it is the checkbox causing it. Evernote will function normally if I avoid ALL notes containing checkboxes. Any thoughts?

Hi - it shouldn't be that sensitive;  you may find that reinstalling the software will help - or if not try replacing your database.  Lots of caveats about how to do both - search in the forums here for more detailed instructions,  or submit a support request (see below) for more assistance from Evernote.
