elektra 2
I run Windows 7 on a PC.Sometimes when I close Evernote, I am unable to re-open the program and have to reboot my PC - which is a nuisance. Is there a reason for this? Also, today, I've been unable to synch notes. They are appearing on the EN browser and my Mac but not on the PC. Thanks Link to comment
Level 5 Wern 247 Posted July 13, 2014 Level 5 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Hm... Several things could play a role here. Before digging too deep and trying here and there, I'd back up the username.exb file (that is where all your notes are stored) to an external stick or harddisk. Then uninstall EN with REVO uninstaller und re-install a clean copy of EN, replace the empty exb.file with your backup.Doesn't hurt to run a registry-cleaning program, like CCLEANER as well. Good luck,Wern Link to comment
elektra 2
Thanks for this advice. Where do I find the username.exb file?Is the free version of REVO sufficient or will I find it useful to buy the professional version? Tess Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,073 Posted July 13, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted July 13, 2014 The EXB file will normally be in C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote and the free version of Revo should do the job (although you can also get a free 30-day trial for the full version). Link to comment
