I'd like to propose an idea I call Smart Pages for Penultimate. The idea is that certain areas of the page use what you write there as context that drives functionality in the app. For example a task list might have a due date column and that might trigger a notification on the date entered. Pages could be like forms - they could have a combination of pen entry fields and standard touch controls. I can think of a ton of useful ways this could be leveraged.

Meeting notes / Action items
Class notes
Many more
