Rob van Vliet 44 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Hello, I'm running Evernote on Linux in wine 1.7. This ran perfectly until I recently needed to re-install evernote, and re-sync my 10GB database. The sync gets stuck on about 6GB. After that on every sync I get this error: 15:01:16 [51] 65% Submitting batch of 13 note calls, size=29.1MB15:01:50 [51] 65% TException: EDAM processing error: Excessive batch response size15:01:50 [13] Client synchronization finished, status: failed15:01:50 [13] * 366 items received15:01:50 [13] * elapsed time: 10m 13s Even the amount of "366 items received" is consistent for every sync. Does anyone have a clue on whats going on here? BTW: the sync works fine on a "real" Windows system, and on OSX and Android devices. Rob
Rob van Vliet 44 Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Follow up on my own post: nothing linux, wine or even Windows specific here. It appeared that a couple of notes got corrupted on the evernote servers: loading these notes in the Web Interface also failed after a timeout. Moved the notes to a local notebook, and sync continued.
Rob van Vliet 44 Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Hmm, I was to fast. The problem is back, this time without pointing to a specific note. It looks like a copy of this issue posted: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/62004-fail-to-sync-the-files/ From my log:12:09:14 [56] 68% Retrieving note "AAAA"12:09:14 [56] 68% * guid={05188875-60d1-4034-90a7-2eb9337fe923}12:09:14 [56] 68% Submitting batch of 0 note calls, size=0B12:09:17 [13] Client synchronization finished, status: failed12:09:17 [13] * 366 items received12:09:17 [13] * elapsed time: 15m 36s
XiaoA 2 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 For recent issues on "EDAM processing error: Excessive batch response size", do as follows: 1. Tools->Options->Update to pre-released version when available 2. Help->Check for Updates After update, the issue is gone.
AmandaCoox 0 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Great! Doing the upgrade definitely worked for me!
