I moved to Evernote from Devonthink, and was hoping that the "related notes" feature in EN would give me at least some of the AI functionality of the latter. However, I've been slightly disappointed to see that the EN client on Mac doesn't seem to suggest any related notes when the note content is just a PDF of an academic paper. I have a premium account, the PDFs are being indexed, as I can search for terms found inside them, but the related notes feature doesn't seem to be using that information. I have turned on the feature in preferences, and it seems to work ok for text snippets.
Is this a feature, bug, or something I'm not doing right? Advice would be appreciated.
