Safari can't open web clipper

I have the same problem. I'm using Safari on iPhone 5 with the latest operating system. When I click the up arrow at the bottom I'm offered Message, Mail, Twitter & Facebook but no Evernote.

I'm having the same issue, on my Safari desktop version. The web clipper button in my Safari Toolbar simply stopped working yesterday.

Here a few sites that it isn't working on, where it has definitely worked in the past:

http://sprudge.com

I have yet to find a site that it is actually working on. I click the button and... nothing.

I can still clip things by using the menu which appears when I right click, but that doesn't allow me to choose which Notebook to save the clipping into, which makes the whole process far less useful.

Any ideas for how I can resolve this issue, please?

Hi Jason,

All of the sites work as expected in our testing on Safari 7.0.4 (9537.76.4) on OSX 10.9.3.

I would suggest you re-install the extension by first removing it > Restart Safari > Re-install from www.evernote.com/webclipper.

We're not sure why this sometimes happens, but indications are that this is a Safari bug.

Please also let me know what Web Clipper version you have, Safari version and OSX version.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I am using Safari 7.0.4 (not sure about the longer number you mention in brackets - sorry, I'm learning this as I go along...)

My OSX is 10.9.3

And my Web Clipper is 6.1.3

I'll uninstall it now, and let you know how I get on.

Hi jbignert (again),

I have a problem opening web clipper in Safari (could download, but not install).

I GOT:

Macbook Air: OS X El Capitan version 10.11.1

Safari: Version 9.0.1

NEW STEPS I HAVE TAKEN:

1.downloaded EVN from https://evernote.com/products/

2. downloaded web clipper from https://evernote.com/webclipper/

3. tried to open downloaded web clipper, but only got "Safari can’t install this extension. An error occurred while installing the extension Evernote Web Clipper.”

4. uninstalled EVN

5. deleted web clipper extesions

6. restarted safari

7. repeated steps 1.-6.

Still won't work.

What should I do now?  :( Thank you very much.
