shekala 58
I like the business card scanning, but as with most scanning, it makes mistakes. The problem is that I have the scans sync to my phone and before I can make corrections, the syncing takes place. This then results in the need to edit both the data in Evernote, as well as in contacts on the phone. Is there a better way? Seems like it shouldn't sync to the phone until the editing process is done and the user gives the go ahead to sync. Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
Hmmmm that is an interesting problem. You are given an opportunity to add/correct the parsed data immediately upon scanning the card. If, rather than committing the scan then fixing errors, you correct the errors before saving the scan, does to proper information get pushed to your phone's contacts app? In other words, Scan the card, and enter the correct information when the dark, black screen is presented with Evernote's attempts to pull the data from the card. As far as I have observed, the information isn't pushed to your contacts application until you hit the little check mark in the bottom right. Link to comment
