Web clipper hangs when clipping certain pages

Hi everyone,

 

I'm a new Evernote user. This is the first problem I've had. 

 

Sometimes when I try to clip certain pages, the clipper will clip but gets stuck during the sync. This appears to break my whole evernote system - my desktop program and andriod app can't sync ("Last sync failed [time]. Network error"), my web evernote crashes (the app is currently unreachable), and I can't clip any more pages. Eventually (after 10+ minutes), or if I restart my computer, it all starts working again, but the original page that caused the problem isn't saved. Other pages clip and sync normally. 

 

This started last night (6/10/14)

 

I'm on Windows 7, Chrome 35.0.1916.153, Clipper 6.1.3. I've already tried reinstalling the web clipper and my desktop client.

The Evernote Service is still recovering from DDoS attack yesterday.

This is most likely the cause of your sync problems.

Really useful posting. Would have been nice if Evernote had notified users. This was driving me crazy for a couple of hours.
