Linked notes must open in Evernote Web?

Hello, 

 

I am using note links in the Evernote standalone application for Mac OS X (Mavericks).   I notice when I click a linked note in a note I'm reading, it tries to open the note in the Evernote Web App.   I've been using Evernote for a few years and I haven't noticed this before.  I work mostly offline with syncing every 15 minutes.   I don't see anything in the Preferences to set where a linked note opens.

 

Is it possible to change this!

right-click a note, hold opt and select "copy classic note link". This link will always paste as Evernote:///  

 

New note links paste as evernote:/// within evernote, and https:// outside of evernote. 

 

Classic is... classic, it's what you want. More discussion on the links posted above, and the links posted in those links.

Just a thank you for pulling the threads together. I was having the same question and this immediately answered it.
