Idea

I would like to request a feature (or if this exists, please clue me in!).

I would love to be able to create a Checkbox summary page so i can see at a glance all my to do items from multiple meetings. maybe even the ability to group by Tags and filter by Attributes... ??

thank you!

There's no single page that shows all of the checkboxes and adjacent content, but you can use the Attributes panel on the left to show all of the notes that contain ToDo items, or only the ones that contain incomplete ToDo items. Then you can just go through those notes instead of seeing all notes.

A todo/checkbox summary page is the one main item that keeps me from using

Evernote all the time. OneNote has one, well at least a tag search listing.

Evernote is fine if you don't have too many todos going on. Once that happens it gets very

hard to track all of them. Looking through each note with a todo doesn't scale very well.

I hope you can add this feature soon.

Hi,

Just comming back on this feature. I'm more and more using Evernote and ready to buy a premium account but the "ToDo" management is to poor for me. During my professional Calls or Meetings, I'm using evernote to take notes "on the fly" and build my minute of meeting. What I like is to have a tool to take notes and "ToDo"s list all in one. But it's really missing , at least, an advanced ToDo list and search tool where we could manage the deadline, the progress..... After my meetings and my calls, the challenge for me is to keep organized and go to the "actions part"! Take notes are not enough ;-)

This is my wish

Thanks in advance

Best regards from France

I'm not sure if this helps, but todo's are supported in the search tool. From the Help (Windows 3.5 PDF):

todo:[true|false|*] ‐ if the argument is "true", this will match notes that have ToDo checkboxes that are currently checked. If the argument is "false", this will match notes that have ToDo checkboxes that are not currently checked. If the argument is "*", this will match notes that have a ToDo checkbox of any type.

 ‐todo:false todo:true

o Matches notes that have completed ToDo items, but no uncompleted items.

p.s. By the way, EverNote-folks, the help doc has a typo. The text actually says:

"todo:[true|false|*] ‐ if the argument is not "true", this will match notes that have ToDo checkboxes that are currently checked. "

Boldface is mine: the 'not' should not be there.
