-tag search not working in Mac app or web app

Idea

Hi everyone,

I apologise if this has already been asked and answered.

I can not get the EN search for -tag:Tag1 to work in either the mac app or the web app. I am typing on a British mac air keyboard. When I type -tag:Tag1 into the search box it just seems to ignore it as it doesn't understand it.

Any help would be greatly received.

I am not sure, but maybe take out the "-" sign in front of "tag".

So, it will look like:    tag:Tag1

Thanks Sentinel but I am in fact trying to search for notes that do not have the tag "Tag1" - hence the "-" :)

Hey, Nutty, negative Tag searches are working fine for me.  I'm running EN Mac 5.5.1 on OS X 10.8.5.

Only things can think of:

  1. Have you tried different tags?
  2. Does the British Mac KB treat the "-" key different from US?
  3. Did this just start happening?  If so, what has changed?
  4. What versions of EN and Mac OS are you running?
