Evernote not launching on 64bit Windows 8 machine

Anyone any ideas why this is happening. It starts, asks me to log in, I put in the correct details and application just aborts. No messages, just gone.

Very frustrating as I have paid subscription. 

 

Can anyone help?

I have EN running on two 64 bit machines without problems - best idea:  use Revo Uninstaller to remove your current setup and do a clean reinstall to try again. Before you start exit Evernote completely (File > Exit) and copy your existing database to your desktop as a backup just in case.  (More detailed instructions around the forums if you need them.)
