HELP! Account got deactivated for some reason, notes lost. How do I get them back?

For some reason, my Evernote account got deactivated, I have no idea why. In any case, I was able to re activate it again but all my notes are missing. How do I fix this? I really need all my notes back. This is horrible. I thought I could trust Evernote, but its so unreliable! UGH.

Hi and welcome to the forums !

 

Most likely, your notes are still there.

 

Go to the EN WEB version (Everneote.com), sign into your account and see what you can find.

Your notes could be in the trash as well.

If you don't find your notes, your database could be in the wrong location (on your desktop).

Log out, open EN on your desktop. Assuming you are on WIN, check Tools >> Options

Can you see the location of your (old?) file. Look for the "username.exb" file.

Change the location in the data path if necessary.
