Pictures not auto resizing on Google Chrome, is this on purpose?

Are pictures supposed to remain resized to fit the window when editing a note on the web using Google Chrome?

That's how it works for me too - you can alter the display size somewhat by resizing the picture.

Don't think it's a problem as such - I'd imagine it's an issue with editing in a browser - the OS requires a certain resolution for the text characters you're adding/ changing;  the picture resolution has to change accordingly because it's in the same note.  If it's a big picture much of the content will be off-screen.  You can't edit pictures in Chrome (although I'd bet there's an app somewhere for that if you'd like to..) but you can often -not always- cut a picture and resize it in 3rd party software and drop a smaller version back.
