Level 5* EdH 1,670 Posted April 22, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted April 22, 2014 I switched from 4.x to 5.4 recently, and slowly regretting it. I cannot figure how to add a URL manually to a note. In 4.x, there was a URL field. 5.x has this if EN generates it, usually through the clipper, but I cannot figure out how to add my own URL to a new note. Any ideas? Link to comment
Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted April 22, 2014 Level 5 Share Posted April 22, 2014 More and more of the UI information is becoming less obvious. Unfortunately with version 5, there are extra steps required. Here is how you add it to a note you are editing or creating.http://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/sh/bfde7937-f5ab-4103-8f2a-93dec469e82c/fdb36849bb61871fcf68c8e96ce56431 Link to comment

When Evernote first released a Mac Beta with this new Info panel, we complained long and hard. I would guess at least 90% of the beta testers objected to it. But to no avail. The Evernote UI designers either just don't get it, or value looking cool over having a highly functional tool that's easy to use. Link to comment
