Trish McG 1
Can only the owner of a notebook add notes, or can someone who the owner has shared the notebook with add notes as well. I am sharing my recipe notebook with my college age daughter, and would like her to be able to add new notes (recipes) to the notebook. Is she only allowed to edit notes (if I allow it, which I did) and not add new ones? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,405 Posted April 16, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted April 16, 2014 You can allow viewing and editing, but not creating new, You could have a special note where your daughter adds the material she'd like in a new note so you can cut and paste it into a real new note - or you could hand over your Evernote email address so she can mail in the necessary details. You can specify several things about a new note - notebook, tags, reminder etc; but you still can't create a notebook or tags that don't already exist. Link to comment
Trish McG 1
Thank you for answering me so quickly. I may just give her my Evernote email address. That seems simplest. Link to comment
