patdivis 2 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Hi all, after installing an update to evernote win 5.3.00 3360 client, I found that I can't move notes from one notebook to another in the same account. Nothing happens. Copying is possible. Any solution or same behavior by anyone? Thank you very much for help. Link to comment

I am using the same version and move my Notes, by clicking just above 'Created' on the Notebook the Note is currently in, then selecting the Notebook I want to move to. This still works for me. How are you trying to move your Notes? It might be worth going, File, Exit, then starting Evernote again. Best regards Chris Link to comment

Best regards Chris I think I am skilled user of Evernote... :-) I tried to move notes between notebooks in several ways: drag and drop, contextual menu via new notebook picker. But the note always stay in old notebook. Copying is functional. Link to comment

Regards Chris Yes, sure, rebooting client, rebooting machine etc. I am working on Win machine where are my problems with moving notes, my home computer is Mac without problem. I know that it will be difficult to replicate this bug, probably it is specific for my computer and system setup. :-( Thank you for you efforts! Link to comment

patdivis 2 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Share Posted April 11, 2014 I tried to delete local database of notes, now downloading my 6 000 notes, but moving seems to working now. So it was damaged local database probably. Thank you for you effort. It helped to sort my thoughts and ideas. Link to comment
