anniestophanes 0
Hi My first time here. I have been using Evernote for quite a while and love it. Just got the O2 offer of free upgrade to premium and have downloaded the premium version using the code. I'm on a Mac and when I drag the new Evernote icon to the Applications folder it is syaing it will overwrite the existing Evernote. Will this lose all my existing notes? Not been using Mac that long so sorrry if it's a dumb question! Link to comment

For example, as a premium member, any images or PDFs you upload will now be processed at Evernote so that any text displayed in them is now searchable. You don't need to install the app again. However, even if you did overwrite the app, as long as everything is synced, it wouldn't affect your notes. Link to comment

One thing I strongly recommend are backups of all of your data. Besides giving you peace of mind, it might save you in the future from a lot of headaches.
