"Drift" has vanished, what did I do?

Just tried out Penultimate a few days ago for the first time and liked the "drift" function a lot because it expands the size of the page so that I can get more than 4 words on it. I also liked the "anchor" function to hold it still at need. But I fired it up again today and the anchor has vanished, and the "Drift" isn't happening either. I don't recall doing anything to make it start last time, and so I don't know how I made it stop. There is no "anchor" icon at the top of the page anymore, and there was before. When I start writing now the page just stays its usual size instead of zooming out. I checked the settings and there doesn't appear to be anything I could have turned off or on that would have broken it.

How can I make it work the way it was working before? I liked it!

Pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out (the same way you would on a map).
