Vegangoth 0
I was looking at the premium monthly prices and on the ipad it's premium for £3.99 but on the website it's £4. Granted it's not much of a difference but it is still a difference. Why is that? Link to comment
Level 5 Adjusting 276 Posted March 28, 2014 Level 5 Share Posted March 28, 2014 When you upgrade on your iPad, the upgrade goes through Apple. They specify what price points are possible. Link to comment
ScottLougheed 1,316
And to clarify Adjusting's point, Apple only allows prices ending in .99 so a 4.00 price is impossible. Link to comment
Vegangoth 0
Brilliant! Thanks so much. I didn't know that about apple that was very interesting. Link to comment

Not exactly correct (and the reason I was so vague). In Canada and the US, Apple only allows prices that end in .99, but in the UK there are prices that end in .29, .49 and .69 too, and in Sweden the prices are round numbers. Link to comment

Wordsgood 526
That's odd about Canada since we got rid of the penny last year. And to clarify Adjusting's point, Apple only allows prices ending in .99 so a 4.00 price is impossible. Not exactly correct (and the reason I was so vague). ScottLougheed 1,316
We got rid of it (THANK GORD) for cash but not for electronic transactions! To-the-cent pricing still applies with visa/debit, and thus, for anything digital. Link to comment
Wordsgood 526
Right, forgot about that. Personally speaking, I always found it handy to cash in my penny collection once a year. Usually in January, lol. We got rid of it (THANK GORD) for cash but not for electronic transactions! To-the-cent pricing still applies with visa/debit, and thus, for anything digital. Link to comment
