Move Notebooks on Side Bar

DoxaPar

Idea

I know this has been brought up repeatedly but the Windows version of Evernote allows you to rearrange notebook stacking by clicking and dragging notebooks on the left pane.

This feature needs to be added to the Mac version.

The current version for doing this in the Mac version of Evernote is cumbersome and unintuitive.

I concur. You can't use tags anymore (which are the prime reason for me to use evernote):

  • you can't reorganise your tags in the Mac client.
  • you can't filter on multiple tags.
  • It doesn't count how many note are in each tag.
  • You can't use nested tags (as in filter all notes in all sub categories)

With each "update" it gets worse and worse with evernote.

Why can’t you use tags anymore?

  • What ways were you reorganizing tags before that don’t work anymore?
  • Click on one tag in the sidebar, then Command click on a second tag. Voila! You’re filtering on multiple tags.
  • Preferences->General->Show note counts in sidebar
  • Could you filter on nested tags before?

I don’t see how any of the things you’ve mentioned have changed in recent updates.
