(Archived) The best way to integrate Google Calendar (or other decent Calendar applications) into Evernote

What is the best method to integrate decent calendar applications such as Google Calendar into Evernote?

I've tried Eventnoted, but it doesn't really work. All the events I try to put in end up being dated as "January 1, 1970" for no apparent reason.

But it doesn't seem to work.

This is the proper steps, right?

1. Create a note

2. Put date of event on note title

3. Share link

No - you use the script by joining IFTTT (if you haven't already) and activating that script in your personal account.  Then when you create a new appointment in Google Calendar you get a new note in Evernote automatically.  You may want to set a reminder then for the actual date/ time of the meeting,  or change the created date of your note to that future date so you get a visual reminder in Evernote as well as Calendar.

I was talking about the alternative recipe I used (https://ifttt.com/recipes/45232-create-gcal-event-from-evernote) since it fits my purpose more. I've activated the recipe and followed the proper steps, but it doesn't work, what's wrong?

EDIT: Never mind, I got it to work. Thanks for your help  !

EDIT 2: Oh, I get it, the problem was that IFTTT have a 15-minute trigger delay
