Premium account: Unable to share a notebook with one user

I am a premium account member and share about 5 notebooks with co-workers with varying permissions based on the notebook. There is one user who is able to accept my invites and the notebooks show up in his web portal and desktop app. However when he clicks on the notebook to view the notes he gets an error "There are no shared notebooks at this address."

 

We have removed him from the notebooks and resent invites. He has tried different browsers. He refuses to try it on his phone because "work doesn't pay for my phone bill so why should I use it for work" mentality.

 

Any thoughts.
