dchoppy 0
When using the Windows client, should "import folders" to a local notebook count against the monthly quota? My understanding from reading previously posted topics, the knowledge base, etc. is that it should not. In my experience, however, it has counted against the monthly quota as validated by the activity log and failure to import since quota has been exceeded. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you import to a local/non-sync'd notebook, the notes do not go against your monthly upload quota. OTOH, if a note is added to a sync'd notebook, sync'd (it's then going against your monthly upload), then moved to a local/non-sync'd notebook, then yes, it went against your quota. This is not like Dropbox where you can delete files to make room for more, if you're at your limit. It's a monthly upload amount. If it gets uploaded to the EN servers, it goes against your quota. dchoppy 0
Thanks BurgersNFries. Than I must be doing something wrong or I don't understand the process. Here's what I did as a test. 1. Create new test folder on desktop. 2. Open EN and Create "Local" (non-synchronized) Test Notebook Local.3. Open Import Folders, Select Add, Select test folder on desktop, Subfolders set to No, Notebook is set to Test Notebook Local, Source is set to Keep. 4. Add three pdf of various sizes (all less than 26 MB) to the test folder on the desktop5. Check EN log (see below) 17:28:31 [968] Import folder: "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder" started17:28:59 [968] Importing "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 1.pdf" of 902KB will exceed monthly upload limit17:28:59 [968] Failed to import: "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 1.pdf"17:28:59 [968] Importing "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 2.pdf" of 15.1MB will exceed monthly upload limit17:28:59 [968] Failed to import: "C:\Users\hopkindc\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 2.pdf"17:28:59 [968] Importing "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 3.pdf" of 4.5MB will exceed monthly upload limit17:28:59 [968] Failed to import: "C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Test EN folder\Test File 3.pdf" What am i doing wrong or what I am not understanding? Many thanks Link to comment
dlu 628
At cursory glance, this might be a bug on our side. Let me have the team take a look at it. Thanks much for the detailed steps. Link to comment
