Can I change the location of my local files?

Idea

Hello! I have a Mac with a very small SSD, so I save everything to Copy (it's like Dropbox, if you haven't heard of Copy). I heard that all Evernote notes are saved as local files for backup, too, but I can't find anything that will let me change the location of the backup. Is there a way to do this? I don't even know where they're being stored now, let alone how to change it.

Thanks!

I had a Macbook Pro that was running low in SSD space. I found that my best option was to upgrade to a 1TB SSD. It was only a few hundred bucks and really easy to swap out.

Others will chime in here about the wisdom of moving the local files....

I appreciate the feedback. I'm happy with the size of my SSD and have plenty of cloud space that I would prefer to use. I'm really hoping to just find a way to change where the files are saved.

Apparently, you can.

Personally, I haven't, and I wouldn't. My solution was to radically shrink the size of my database.

I am hoping that someday we will have selective sync like we have on mobile devices.
