WishIWasFishin 13 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 While I'm in the forum, I'd expect that if I click on the EN logo in the upper left hand corner that I'd return to the main page for the forum. Instead you're transfered to the main EN page. It's an annoyance. Please correct. When I'm in the forum, I expect an easy way to return to the main forum page (typically clicking the logo does that). If I want to get back to evernote.com I already know how to do that. Just a personal annoyance that others may have. Please correct.

Click on the Forum tab in the upper left corner. Or to see just the unread posts, click on the View New Content tab in the upper right.
Level 5* jefito 5,598 Posted February 24, 2014 Level 5* Posted February 24, 2014 There's no value to having a prominent link to the main Evernote site? Why not just click on the tab just underneath the Evernote logo that reads "Forum"?

Why not just click on the tab just underneath the Evernote logo that reads "Forum"? It's not intuitive. Other forums link back to the forum, not the website. This link definitely wasn't approved by a user interface (UI) guru. Just a pet peeve of mine. Not something I'm going ***** and moan about for the next three months. And jefito, to answer your question .... no there's not. If I'm in the forum, that's where I want to be. If I want the website I already know how to get there.

I tend to believe that there's not a lot truly intuitive about much of computers (we didn't come out of the womb understanding them; it's pretty much learned behavior), but it would be vastly unintuitive, even in my book, if clicking on a link entitled "Forum" didn't take you to the forum. Well, I'm glad I'm not going to bearing about this for the next three months; I doubt that they'll change it, but who knows, maybe the'll see the light after all this time.
