I am trying to learn to use Evernote for genealogy sources and citations. I use GEDitCom as my genealogy database and it has the ability to store images, text etc. internally. An alternative to internal storage is the link via url to the document in question. Use Family Search for example: I don't save the document only the link; when I want to view the document a click on that link will bring it up in my browser.
So far, I've been unable to determine if I store a pdf for example in Evernote, is a link created that I could put into GEDitCom to click on and it would bring up the stored document for viewing? Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your responses.
